Israel-Hamas War

International News: The Gaza Strip is once again in the grip of the fierce military operation of the Israeli army. This time it is being described as 'rampd-up campaign' i.e. more aggressive military operations. On the one hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is talking about taking the battle to a decisive turn, on the other hand, diplomatic talks are also going on between Hamas and Israel in Qatar regarding the release of ceasefire and hostages.

Now the big question is - will the Gaza strip move towards a peaceful agreement or will it be completely destroyed under 'Operation Clean Sweep'?

Israeli army landed on the ground

The Israeli army has confirmed that its soldiers are conducting ground operations in the north and southern parts of Gaza. During this time many terrorists have been killed and Hamas's hideouts have been destroyed. The army claims that the position of Israeli soldiers on strategic fronts has strengthened.

Netanyahu blunt message

This campaign has started at a time when Prime Minister Netanyahu has first indicated that if an agreement can be safer return of hostages and Hamas's back, Israel is ready to negotiate. However, he has made it clear that the condition of any deal will be - the release of all the hostages, the Hamas terrorists should be deported by Gaza and the entire area should be relieved.

Negotiations started again in Qatar

Several rounds of conversations have failed since the ceasefire broke in March. But now a new hope has arisen in Doha, the capital of Qatar, where the negotiations between the representatives of Israel and Hamas have started again without any pre -condition. This conversation is going on in the mediation of Qatar, Egypt and America, and according to sources, an attempt is being made to agrees to the disputed points.

Humanitarian crisis deepens in Gaza

Meanwhile, human conditions in Gaza are getting worse. On Sunday, more than 50 civilians were killed in the attacks, including women and children. In Al-Masi area, 22 deaths occurred and more than 100 people were injured in the attack on tents of the displaced. Indonesian Hospital has been surrounded by the army, due to which no public hospital in North Gaza is now in service.

Dreadful picture of statistics

On 7 October 2023, 1,218 Israeli citizens were killed and 251 people were taken hostage in the attack by Hamas. There are still 57 hostage in Gaza, out of which 34 have been confirmed to be killed. According to the Gaiza Health Ministry, 53,339 people have died in the battle that started in response, in which 3,193 deaths have been recorded in the recent week.

Netanyahu's strategy at the decisive turn

Now there are two options in front of Netanyahu - either the conversation should weaken Hamas and ensure the safe return of the hostages, or the entire military cleaning under the 'Operation Clean Sweep' in Gaza. Any path should be adopted, a decisive phase has now begun on Gaza, which can prove to be historical for future politics and humanity.
